This semester has been one of the most comprehensive of all my life. So, Thank God it's over. It's been a semester filled with joy and fun, but not as previous years. Thanks to those people who trusted me, even though I already did not. I hope so badly the Christmas holidays and next semester I do better than this. In Puerto Rico, a dropout is one child or young student who was dismissed from the day school in Puerto Rico, during the school year. Thus the student ignores some opportunities for a better future. Specifically, the drop occurs mostly after the transition to the intermediate level from sixth to seventh grade and step to the upper intermediate level between ninth and tenth grade in Puerto Rico each year are written off 2,500 students of the educational system. Consequently there are several factors that influence dropout. These factors include a lack of interest in school, low grades, the intellectual difficulties, health problems, financial problems, parental influences and relationships, among others. Measures to address the dropout problem may be worthwhile, but be careful multidisciplinary centers that don't become a discriminatory system. Could be identified without sufficient evidence about young people and isolates them from other experiences that should be constructive.
